Cardiff based producers Blap have gained a reputation for their live acts with slamming kick drums and rattling drums that find a sweet spot between dark, mysterious and roaring techno. They have been steadily gaining notoriety over the past years and their Paradox EP has seen the support by the likes of Dax J, Louk/Hidden Identity, Kuetzal, Esther Duijn, Samantha Togni, Ian Void, Raymundo Rodriguez, Cristian Varela to name a few.

Paradox EP is a heavy techno cut presenting 3 original tracks by Blap and a remix by ALNA - out today and all digital and streaming platforms and on limited edition vinyl, with conceptual artwork, later this year.
The EP is a mixture of fast-paced kick drums, glitchy synth textures, loopy percussions and warehouse – ready sounds that will turn any club into a groovy rave party.

Earlier this year ALNA started her own imprint, that has seen the release of 3 EPs and a single in 2022. Label boss, producer, DJ and events producer has always prioritised quality to quantity and supported up in coming and original pioneers along the way. She is now back on her OUT OF CTRL with a new track ‘The Way You Are’.

Her new single presents a softer side of her productions, bass and own voice focused. The track is a mixture of techno and breaks elements. The drums are broken up, percussive and funky. Her voice overpowering and booming in the low register and glitchy when high. It is not the first time we hear ALNA singing on her productions and it won’t be the last!

PREMIERE: ALNA - 90 Seconds [OUT OF CTRL]

ALNA kicks off the EP with ’Play It Back’, a driving techno cut with slamming kick drums, soulful vocals and an infectious bounce that keeps the dancefloor grooving. ’90 Seconds’ takes the EP into deeper territory with a pulsing bass, snappy claps and visceral vocals that up the energy of the track, searching for musical diversity and punk like energy. It is peak time, intense energy and a tripped-out synth work. ‘Virtual Reality’ caps off the EP with a rumbling bass, loopy drums and a heavy kick, evolving continuously on a high-speed and hypnotic groove.

Volster’s remix takes us onto psychedelic territories cut with ethereal, alien-like sound effects and broken up drums. The heavy bass and delicate synths bring plenty of cosmic energy and an infectious and driving groove. You can picture yourself on a sweaty dancefloor, free of concern, glowing and fusing to the sound of the underground.
