Brought on as a Format Recordings resident in 2018, Adam Pecho has since made his mark as a staple of the Chicago underground techno scene. From finding himself on the dancefloor of a dark and dirty warehouse, grooving to the intricately woven soundscapes, to learning how to create and manipulate the very music that moved him. 

Adam’s sound is rooted in techno, occasionally venturing into ambient, drone, and abstract territory, placing carefully designed elements into his productions. His debut EP ‘Manufacture.Distribute’ led him to the top of Beatport’s release charts and helped to establish a commanding presence as not only a DJ, but a prolific producer. 

Over the years, Adam has played alongside globally recognized artists such as Fjaak and 999999999, as well as P.E.A.R.L., Norbak, Adriana Lopez, and more. 

Recently, Adam Pecho launched his own label ‘Pechno Records’ and has worked alongside a number of similar producers to create what he calls ‘The Cookout’ - a new series of albums designed to emphasize the power of collaboration. 

Expanding on this newly built catalog of music is where Adam has set his sights. His future lies in the exploration of new creative outlets where his unique style and sound can be experienced by others.
