The theme is "Story of Seasons" and/or the picture on the album cover (participants are allowed to choose from the two).

Here is my submission to the third OST Composing Jam. It's the first time I've made something with a time minimum of three minutes (or an OST jam at all), so it was fun figuring out how to continue expanding the soundtrack while thinking of the story (of seasons) I had in mind.

I plan to possibly use this for the main menu and beginning theme of the game I'm currently working on :D

Good Day - Good Day Game OST (Electric, Hybrid)

This is a short orchestral demo written for the 3d OST Composing Jam

You are flying across a vast expanse of tundra. The wind whips past you, the sound of the howling wind filling your ears, soft flakes pelting your face. The music swells. You've come a long way. Far off in the distance, you can see it finally. Home.

This piece, All Directions, All At Once, would be the final level score to a game that doesn't have a name. In this game, your character soars over mountains and through valleys, over steaming rainforests and across freezing lakes. In this flight simulator/survival game, the natural world is your greatest obstacle. The goal is to return home. The game is split into 4 different seasons in different parts of the world. The piece attached to this submission is the final level of the last season: winter. 

Musically, I attempted to create a piece of music that captured the feeling of catching sight of home at the end of a long journey. The hope that comes with this feeling is the force that carries you through the most difficult part of the game, through the bitter cold and driving snow. 

Composed in Logic Pro X. Saxophones and clarinets were recorded originally for this recording by the composer, all other instruments come from various sample libraries.

My interpretation of what a soundtrack for an 8-bit action farming game would sound like as you nurture your land through each season, protecting and growing your crops.

## - The Battle of Frost and Machinery

As Vera wakes up, she feels a mix of excitment for the coming day, and stress fueled grief, wich are represented by the dynimic instrumentation (as well as the introduction and refraising of laitmotifs). As for the imaginary gamplay, it would be a pretty chill exploration-heavy section where we get to know our protagonist by examining her belongings

The Sound of Seasons

Home (spring)

After getting herself to leave the house, Vera realizes she's late and has to rush to her classroom. That feeling is captured by the drums and electric-guitar accompanying a repeating frase though the whole song.
Gameplay wise, this section plays out like a stressfull run-against-time section with the world simbolically worping around Vera, mkaing the path futher and harder

School (summer)

After class, Vera visits the graveyard were her mother is barried. Felling alone, she shifts between cherished memories and absolute despair, wich is mirrored by the two clearly alternating sections of the song. In both cases, srtings take center-stage, but are played in compleatly oposite fashions.
here, the music is heavily incomperated into the gameplay, thgough the map alternating in diferent statedc according to the music, making the player have to keep their eras open to compleate a puzzle based level.
