CRUDE Premiere: ALEISTER BLAKE - BRAIN'S ARCANE [Clan Destine Records]

The 7th release on Bond is the second release in Petter B´s series called “Roots”. On the A-side you find a “Roots Pt. II” with a big yet simple hoover lead. Its simple structure together with its powerful breakdown and tons of dirt makes it a great weapon in a DJs arsenal. On the flip side there are two tracks, the outer one is called “First Wave”. The track has a powerful low end and a rhythmic and minimalistic hook. It builds up almost like a wave and plunges down into a break and begins its journey one more time. The inner track on the b-side is a percussive monster. Its hook is made up of dubbed out percussive elements. After listening to it in a dark room for to long you can almost hear the tre drums starting to talk to you.

Forthcoming HOBI EP is hard to define.
Polished and ambient sounds associated with an irregular but clear groove, produce the correct and desired atmosphere for him.
Omniscience, Clarification and Misconception, have in common the power to produce in the listeners a specific introspective trip, combining powerful and costant synthlines and bassline with hypnotic and granular soundscapes.
These tracks sound forceful and are full of experimentation, related to textures that totally represent HOBI style and his passion for the "introspective" techno aesthetic.

Opuswerk, swiss hypnotic music "machine" and half of HISS:1292 with François X, after releasing his music on DEMENT3D, Krill Music and Knotweed, is here again with his awesome remix of "Misconception".
Remixing is about re-interpreting someone's idea, which sometimes you can and sometime not. This time, it was about building a tool out of what was there, looping bits and parts, and adding the necessary and trademark drum machine funk Opuswerk is known for.
He extracted the atmosphere of the original track and built from there, aiming not for peaktime, but for those moments where you're lost in the music and sound swirls around you, making all groovy and hypnotic.

HOBI - Misconception (Opuswerk Remix)

The 'Echo 8' EP is loaded with four heavy-artillery cuts, all of which throw caution to the wind and bite hard. It's fierce, it's thunderous, it's quintessential Dehnert. We're giving you the first spin of the title-track and you'd better prepare for the fire.

Metalic. jangling synths throw their weight around from the first beat and continue to do so with the backing of a heavy kick throughout. Cosmic synths back up the main riff midway through but it's pretty much no-holds barred from start to finish. Arm yourself with this one and reap the rewards on the dancefloor.

Clash lands once again on his very own label with a powerful statement: "Nuevo Orden Mundial" (spanish for "New World Order"), a taste of the singular and trademark sound from the Madrid-based producer, but in a very particular way... A release fully oriented to the dancefloor!

Five cuts of raw techno and modular sounds with a rave touch, influences that come together to give shape to this EP. The release includes three original productions by Clash: "Overflow", "Alone" and "Pills"; along with two totally killer remixes.

The first one by the Russian duo PTU (formed by Alina Izolenta and Kamil Ea) who took “Overflow” and dismantled it and then blended it back together to leave their characteristic stamp, a strong and energetic sound, a proof of frenetic rhythms. This track has been an essential part of the shows the duo has been doing live during the last few months.

The second remix comes by the berlin-based italian techno veteran Davide Carbone, better known as D.Carbone. In his "Pills" remix, Carbone injected all of his industrial techno power and translated the track to a rave oriented atmosphere. There's no doubt his remix will definitely be considered a dancefloor anthem for this post-pandemic times to come.
