I feel a sense of emptiness and unease,
A struggle to express myself to others with ease.
I long for the black void of before my birth,
Where there's no need for expression, no need to unearth.

No desires, no thoughts, no need to prove,
Just silence, stillness, and peace to behoove.
No need to communicate, to find a groove,
Or to express myself to anyone else to soothe.

My days are filled with wants and needs,
A constant search for something more to feed.
I wish I could return to that state once more,
Where there's no need to strive, no need to explore.

But now I'm here, in this world of mine,
Responsible for my actions, for my own design.
For the emotions of others, unfurled,
And my own existence, yet to be unfurled.

I'm tired of the constant need,
To be someone for everyone else to heed.
To connect, to be vulnerable, to share,
To be myself, to be true, to be fair.

But the more I am true to me,
The more I feel disconnected from the rest, you see.
It's a paradox, an unfair game,
To be different, yet to be the same.

I can't fully be myself to anyone,
But I need to be like them to be close, to be one.
It's unfair, it's a burden, it's notfun,
To be something for everyone, to be a ton.

So I seek solace in the divine,
In God, the universe, and what's mine.
To dissolve, to merge, to be aligned,
To be at peace, and to leave strife behind.

To dissolve into nothingness, to be free,
To let go of the weight of this life's debris.
To break free from this constant need,
And be at peace, without any greed.

I don't want to feel, I don't want to think,
To be one with the universe is my link.
To be content, to be whole,
To let go, to be free, to be my soul.

So I'll embrace this paradox of mine,
And be true to myself, to who I am divine.
To be at peace, to let go and unwind,
And to be one with the universe's grand design.
