ALongside Frank is now an eight piece band,( with guests), which has developed out of the North London collective, ALF.  Alongside Frank have reinvented themselves yet again with five new members after the release of their double album "93 Million Miles" released on the Horizontal Label in 2010. 

The Horizontal Label and Alongside Frank are co-led by guitarist / producer Nicholas Chamberlain-Hunt, and singer Christine Ann Leach. This is the sixth album to be released on the up and coming London label.  

Singer Christine started her recording career as vocalist for jazz nubiles Spring at the age of 16.  Since then she has worked on many projects including underground club records with tracks on renowned producer William Orbit's label, [Guerrilla Records]. This led to further collaboration and songs on William Orbits' "Strange Cargo" series of ambient albums. At the same time her own band Baby Fox began making a name for themselves with two singles of the week in the NME and a couple highly rated albums in a genre that became labelled as trip hop. Christine also co-wrote "Ray of Light" and performed the song with William Orbit at the Astoria and Brixton Academy before Madonna made it the title track of her next album.

Nicholas worked in his early career with cult electronic band Neu Electrik on the Some Bizarre label with fellow artists Soft Cell, Depeche Mode and other big names.  Concurrently Nicky was a sound engineer in recording studios and at live venues, culminating in being a resident sound engineer at the Mean Fiddler. Nicholas also toured America and Europe as a member of Baby Fox as their dubman and front of house engineer, and has been working on the London underground music scene until the present.

Saxophonist Alan McGuire’s  style is sourced from Lester Young (1930s – 1050s) and reinforced by studies with Lee Konitz (1947 to present day).

Drummer Gavin Hanns Jack has been playing solidly with Nicholas and Christine for the last 5 years.  His drumming influences include Steve Gadd, Sly Dunbar and Omar Hakim

Scratcher and funky DJ Tommy “Fingers” Ho! has mastered his art, so influential in hip hop and adds a fantastic twist and energy to the beats of ALF and Alongside Frank. 

New faces are London born Mr Michael Levison on Bass , influences Jag Wobble, Bootsy Collins, Donald “Duck” Dunn and Ronnie Lane.  Also French keyboardist and guitarist Orel Mayer, Texan keyboardist Ingrid “Finger” Malone, from the Toulouse region of France, Frederic Azemar on percussion and guitar, and from Turkey, flautist Gokce Sahbaz.
