In this segment we discuss the historical case of the LA 8 in which 7 Palestinian men, including Amjad Obeid, and one Kenyan woman were arrested and prosecuted with no criminal wrongdoings. The only crime they were taken in to custody for was for speaking out for Palestinian rights and self-determination. The U.S. Government persecuted them for over 20 years in an attempt to deport them for purely political charges. This interview is a first hand account of the case.
