中田ヤスタカ [Yasutaka Nakata] / Perfume / capsule - Victor Gurr tribute mix

「Lo-Fi/Houseにリミックスしてみた」 #ayumix2020

This remix was made for Ayumi Hamasaki's Creator Challenge. I wanted to transform this song from her (originally a ballad) into Diva House / Lo-fi House style. I used Ableton Live, Sylenth1 and a very cool plugin called "RC-20 Retro Color" (look it up on YouTube!). I chose this style because she already has many Trance remixes, and her voice sounds great with a House beat. Now that I think about it, it sounds similar to remixes that can be heard on the first album of the ayu-mi-x series.

With Ayu's remix albums like ayu-mi-x II and ayu trance, I learned that a romantic ballad can turn into a dance anthem, or a dance song can turn into a bossanova tune. She and those who worked on her remixes taught me that the possibilities are limitless when it comes to creating and remixing music. It is an honor to participate in this call created in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, and I hope it can unite producers and fans around the world.

Descripción en Español:

Este remix fue hecho para el “Ayu Creator Challenge” de Ayumi Hamasaki. Quise transformar una balada de ella en un himno Diva House/Lo-fi House. Usé Ableton Live, Sylenth1 y un plugin muy cool llamado “RC-20 Retro Color” (búsquenlo en YouTube!). Elegí este estilo porque ya tiene suficientes remixes Trance, y su voz suena muy bien al ritmo del House. Ahora que lo pienso, suena bastante similar a remixes que se pueden encontrar en ayu-mi-x, el primer disco de remixes de Ayu.

Con discos de remixes como ayu-mi-x II y ayu trance (discos increíbles dentro de su gran catálogo de remixes), aprendí que una balada romántica puede transformarse en un himno dance, o una canción bailable puede convertirse en una melodía bossanova. Ella, y quienes trabajaron en sus remixes, me enseñaron que las posibilidades son ilimitadas a la hora de crear y remezclar música. Es un honor participar en esta convocatoria pensada a raíz del COVID-19, y espero que pueda unir y a los productores y fans de todo el mundo.

浜崎あゆみ ayumi hamasaki - LOVE ~Destiny~ (Alonso Montero Remix) #ayumix2020

Based in Santiago, Chile. Has opened for artists such as Pabllo Vittar (Brazil), Yelle (France), among others, and opened the Fall 2016 season of the Corona Sunsets Festival. Resident DJ at Super Fiesta Barcelona in Santiago, named Best LGBT Party in Chile by Attitude Magazine, UK.

He has made remixes for artists such as La Prohibida (Spain) and Breezesquad (Japan). He's currently working on his debut EP, from which "A Better Tomorrow" stands out as a self-producted Electronic anthem, inspired by the social outbreak in Chile and released amidst the contingency caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. Merging styles such as House, EDM, J-Pop and Trance, he looks forward to establishing himself as one of the new artists to follow in Latin American electronic music.

Radicado en Santiago de Chile y con varios años de trayectoria, ha sido DJ telonero de artistas como Pabllo Vittar (Brasil), Yelle (Francia), entre otros. Ha sido headliner en clubs de la escena underground a lo largo de su país, compartiendo cabina con DJs nacionales e internacionales, además de abrir la temporada otoño 2016 del Festival Corona Sunsets. Actualmente es DJ residente en Súper Fiesta Barcelona, nombrada Mejor Fiesta LGBT de Chile por Attitude Magazine, Inglaterra.

Como productor, ha creado remixes para artistas como La Prohibida (España) y Breezesquad (Japón). Actualmente, se encuentra trabajando en su EP debut, del cual se desprende "A Better Tomorrow", producción propia inspirada por el estallido social de Chile y lanzada en plena contingencia mundial por el COVID-19. Fusionando estilos como el House, EDM, J-Pop y Trance, apuesta a consagrarse como uno de los nuevos referentes de la música electrónica Latinoamericana.
