Kid Paul aka Paul Schmitz - Moormann was born 1975
1981 he moved with his family to Berlin
1983 he began to breakdance and took classic piano lessons
1988 he became famous under the alias Kid Paul with his first record "Acid in my house" by Brian Carter Music and played at the first Acid house Partys in the UFO
1993 he founded together with Cosmic Baby the trance project Energy 52, which produced with "Cafe del Mar" one of the most famous trance tracks ever. In the same year he produced with Paul van Dyk and Stephan Fischer under the alias Dolphin
1995 he left the techno scene and founded the label ISM Productions
