whats your name and where do you rep

Hi I’m Alp, DJ name Alpaca 🦙
Born in Brooklyn, raised overseas and now I’m back full circle living in Brooklyn, NY. I will say there is no other place I’d rather be.

Tell me about this mix

I’m strongly influenced by House, New York and Chicago House to be specific. Knowing the history of the genre you mix is crucial. So I try to pay homage to that genre and style as much as I can.

What are you working on now that u are most excited about?

I just started a new collective called The Jungle Dance! I’m super excited about the opportunity to host many talented DJs and producers under my umbrella of ideas.

Any hobbies outside of music?

I’ve always been a fan of films. Filmmaking, cinematography and screenwriting are hobbies I’d love to sink my teeth into.

Where can we next see you perform or DJ?

I’m throwing a party at Sleepwalk in Bushwick next Friday March 29th from 11pm - 3am.
It’ll be the first official The Jungle Dance party!
