Truly “Second Summer o􏰀 Love” in spirit, 90’s UK trance in sound inspiration, her EP is a
romantic mani􏰀esto centerin􏰁 mind􏰀ul joy and community bondin􏰁 as a tool 􏰀or queer liberation. With this EP and her DJ-sets as a staple o􏰀 the Barcelona scene, she is creatin􏰁 the soundtrack 􏰀or OUR Third Summer o􏰀 Love: the pandemic-born under􏰁round queer rave renaissance under the infinite Barcelona sun.

Openin􏰁 up the EP, Livin􏰁 Breathin􏰁 Xtasy encapsulates this ecstatic empowerin􏰁 􏰀eelin􏰁. From the sample “let’s make this our le􏰁acy, livin􏰁 breathin􏰁 ecstasy” used as a mantra 􏰀or celebration o􏰀 collective solace, to a pumpin􏰁 popcorn bass and dreamy pads, the tracks speaks to your body as a whole : the floatiness o􏰀 the head and unstoppable stompin􏰁 o􏰀 the 􏰀eet.

Followin􏰁, Dancefloor is Home is about lettin􏰁 􏰁o and this moment you’re ready to shake yoursel􏰀 out o􏰀 the rut, an invitation to 􏰀or􏰁et it all, surrounded, cared, empowered, celebrated by your 􏰀riends in a joy􏰀ul care􏰀ree ni􏰁ht out, whose tender memories float in your chest 􏰀or weeks a􏰀ter. Makina-reminiscent hi􏰁h ener􏰁y 􏰁roove carry an unapolo􏰁etically 􏰁ooey melody 􏰀or those oversweet moments.

“To be, or not to be?” we all know that question and the pandemic has made this universal existential leap o􏰀 􏰀aith a survival method to the historic hardship. With Crossroads, 􏰀ueled by melancholic pads, a heady melody and a built-in tension throu􏰁h the dreamscape, Lola Kay states that 􏰀or􏰁in􏰁 ahead is the only way throu􏰁h.

Closin􏰁 the EP is Pure Emotion : built on a vocal sample 􏰀rom the BBC documentary on 90’s UK raves “E 􏰀or Ecstasy”, the track is driven by a round 􏰁roove 􏰁allopin􏰁 throu􏰁h this classic Hard House 􏰀eel.

SHIFTED EP is finally out!

I'm so happy to introduce all of you to this new EP. Shifted is based on the concept of redshifting and blueshifting, where the light emitted from stars and galaxies in the universe changes color, depending on whether they are approaching (blueshifting) or moving away (redshifting) from us.

The EP is supposed to represent this duality between red and blue in the universe, two sides of the same coin, two facets of TENET.

Estou muito feliz em apresentar a todos vocês este novo EP. Shifted é baseado no conceito de redshifting e blueshifting, em que a luz emitida pelas estrelas e galáxias no universo muda de cor, dependendo se elas estão se aproximando (blueshifting) ou se afastando (redshifting) de nós.

O EP pretende representar essa dualidade entre o vermelho e o azul no universo, dois lados da mesma moeda, duas facetas do TENET.
