We dedicate this EP to the Guru and who also initiated the name of it (nama diksha). Camatkara means astonishment in sanskrt. It is a state of I-amazement, a gift of the nectar of worship during the yoga process. When the yogi is in the state of subjectivity, the state of full bliss (camatkara) that arises by experiencing the own true nature. This is pure consciousness.

Krāma is an independent system of śaiva philosophy. "Krāma" means gradualness or chronological order, which shows how liberation can be attained while the yogi lives his normal daily life in parallel without any major difficulties. The illusion of dualism or diversity does not disturb the yogi who knows that all is a manifestation of the One Consciousness and is not different from it. Thus, the yogi can live in the world of dualities without losing the awareness.

Kalinaya, inspired by the path of goddess Kālī, is a very energetic, wake-up song, whose sound is nevertheless very soft and suggests the enjoyment of life, complete freedom

One of the deepest and most well-known holy scripture of the Krama system is Lingu Abijnanu. This traditional work inspired us to create the track, as the rich Sanskrit language not only has a wonderful structure, but also contains an inexhaustible storehouse of the Self-knowledge.

The story of Guru Kripa (grace of teacher) is very unique. It shows the dialogue between the guru and the disciple (Shiva - Shakti). A very intimate relationship where the guru awakens the disciple's atma (soul). The track is full of emotion, deep love and devotion.

All three songs are epic, profound and atmospheric compositions using combinations of various recordings of nature sounds, live instruments and analog synthesizers all fine-tuned to 432hz in order to create harmonious resonant ambience and support the body-mind-soul coherence.

This EP is a musical expression of the recent phase on our spiritual path. Shaktopaya (or Śāktopāya) is the middle stage on the way to eliberation, when the aspirant uses his mind and the energies (Shakti) to reach enlightenment. These compositions tell a story of a specific transcendental experience written intuitively into these notes. Unique arrangements try to describe the whole process of a journey: Starting from a meditative state getting slowly into Samadhi, then building up with immense intensity, reaching the peak of the bliss and coming down as a wondrous catharsis.

From the musical aspect it’s a special release for this young couple (Tomin & Emerencia) as this is the first EP ever of their project called Alpha Hypnotica. Intricate ideas and melodies here have been produced mostly with analog synths and acoustic instruments such as koshi or rainstick. Combining these with own-recorded sounds from nature and orchestral elements this unique deep and mystic atmosphere is created, which pervades all the recordings. Comprehensive textures and dynamic vertical energies indicate that understanding of the Universal Consciousness with the mind is nearly impossible.

This Merkaba Music show presents ALPHA HYPNOTICA, a unique musical project by a married couple Tomas and Emerencia, inspired by unconventional festivals such as Ozora or Samsara, after which a common musical denominator was found and the new audiovisual and spiritual project Alpha Hypnotica was born. The gentle and mysterious voice belongs to Emerencia, while Tomin is in charge of composition, production and post-production, who has been DJing and producing music since 2004, also as Tomin Tomovic, currently leading Slovak indie deep house label called Seta Label.  The couple's music is a chill-out electronica with elements of ambient, dub techno, emotional orchestral and cinematic music, while the background is made up of deep, atmospheric and psychedelic sounds that helps to get the mind into its most creative states: Alpha and Hypnotic(a) – alpha and theta brainwaves. About this mix, they say: "This special set contains our favorite tracks, recently released on Merkaba Music and our own latest productions. We are very excited and honored to have our first ever mix on Radiozora. When we attended Ozora Festival for the first time couple of years ago, we got impressed immediately by the concept and diversity of this gathering. Alpha Hypnotica’s latest single, Vitarka, unfurls like astral mosaic, weaving lush psychedelic textures with deep, resonant basslines and thunderous, pulse-driven beats. Its hypnotic tribal cadence, laced with sinuous acid lines and celestial harmonics, ensnares the senses, guiding the listener through an entrancing sonic odyssey that lingers long after the final note dissolves into the ether.

Vitarka (वितर्क) is a Sanskrit word that can be translated as "reasoning", "deliberation" or   “absorption with physical awareness”. In the context of Yoga it is the first from the four stages of the Savikallpa Samādhi. When doing meditation or japa, the mantra slows down and becomes slower and slower, that is Vitarka Savikalpa Samādhi, the first state of conscious trance.

Alpha Hypnotica is a unique project based on the mystical relationship and spiritual journey of a soulmate couple - Tomin and Emerencia. Each creation is born at the height of the divine energy beyond the manifested Universe between the dimensions of space and time. They take the listener on a sacred journey into magical realms, harmonizing the wonderful frequencies found along the composition process. From these sacred sounds a powerful music is created, which guides us towards our inner voice promoting self-realization and endless liberation, where all beings dance and exist in pure harmony, in unconditional love, in complete unity.

The music is based primarily on the following main pillars:

•	Own-recorded vocals, acoustic instruments and sounds from nature
•	Electronic, orchestral and cinematic elements
•	Psychedelic, deep, mysterious and hypnotic atmosphere
•	Epic, storytelling and often dramatic arrangements with gradual build-up and a tense-relieving peak with strong impact
•	Spiritual undertones including lyrics in Sanskrt, English or Hungarian language. 

All these are pervaded by profound spirituality, eastern philosophies and primordial tantra-yoga with a clear message: We are all One, the Ultimate Consciousness, the Source of all existing, the true Self.

Long story short: The similar musical taste, strong spiritual bond, desire to create something special and inspired by unconventional festivals, such as Ozora, led this married couple to sit together in studio to create their first song in 2018. This is how Alpha Hypnotica was born. Although the idea, concept and basic composition are born together, the gentle and mysterious voice belongs to Emerencia, while Tomin is in charge of production and post-production. He is also a professional DJ, music producer, composer, sound engineer with a 20+ years of experience. As a solo artist he acts under the moniker Tomin Tomovic focusing on melodic/deep house, hypnotic and dub techno. He has already released several tracks on prestigious labels and performed on various domestic and international venues. Currently he leads a Slovak indie house music label called Seta Label. 

Their work cannot be easily classified into some of the present musical genres of electronic music. In the broader sense it is a chill-out electronica with mixture of ambient, dub, psybass, emotional cinematic music. The background is made up of deep atmospheric and psychedelic sounds that helps to get the mind into its most creative states: Alpha and Hypnotic(a) – alpha and theta brainwaves using special fine-tuning and psychoacoustic methods.

They have already released two albums on Melusine Records, three EPs on Merkaba Music and couple of singles on different labels such as Cosmicleaf Records and Blue Tunes Chillout. They enjoy regular support from channels and DJs such as Psychedelic Muse, Astral Dude, Dj Lorn (Ancient Realms), Λ L Ι Ξ Ν, etc.
