This track was already waiting for its release for a while. It's nothing to "creative" compared to my other work as it's main purpose was to train my mixing&mastering skills. I still think it's a complete track, worth being listened to!

This was a big milestone for me. It's already some months old and was originally based on a "write a song in four hours" challenge I stumbled across. It's still not exactly the direction I want my music to go, though. Please comment! ;) I could definitely use some review! Thanks :D

Continental Drift

First of all: Happy new year!

Time passes so fast, suddenly I'm in my third year of making music! I'd like to continue the "tradition" of publishing something new on every new year's day.

This is again a rather deep track, although it's not as dark as "The Awakening" However, they're part of the same compilation I'm currently working on and that I hope to finish this year. The planned title is "The stars are right", after H.P.Lovecraft's mythos about the Great Cthulhu. His stories always were an inspiration to me when I ran out of ideas, so I have a whole bunch of such tracks! :D

Big thanks go to my friend Daniel who must've had great fun designing this artwork. I didn't even ask him for it but I think it's way too good to not get used in that context!

Although I didn't publish that many songs that year and never had the feeling of a great step in my music, looking I've once again come quite a distance :D I hope it stays that way and I'll always have something new to learn.

Maelstrom

Wow, I was super productive the last days! The university exams are approaching, so I am busy enough. However, making music is the perfect distraction from the stress!

I put this remix together in the last two days. Basically it's not a remix but a cover or bootleg, as I didn't use the original project file or stems. It was a nice challenge!
Big thanks to @laweffect, first of all for letting me do this remix, and secondly for his great music in general! I reposted the original track for comparison, if you don't follow him already definitely do so!!!

Laweffect - Speciation (Alpha Remix)

It's been quite a while since I posted something!
I can assure that a lot of music is in the making though, including two new collaborations and a bunch of tracks I'm so close to finishing!

This was one of those tracks that basically require no time compared to most of the usual ones. I started this project one morning while experimenting with Caustic's modular synthesizer, and five hours later realized I had just written a track from scratch. It's funny how this happens sometimes. This is also my first go at mastering one of my tracks with the mastering app the Caustic dev Rej released recently, and I think at least I didn't do too bad with it :D
Of course the whole track has also been written with the mobile app Caustic which you should definitely check out if you haven't already ;)

We worked on this track for the last two months or so, and it surely would have been finished way earlier if I'd be even half as fast as Vitrax. Seriously, he often sent me his next contribution the same day I sent him one earlier on!

Vitrax & Alpha Yui - Both sides

This is a remake of the collab I did with Helias nine months ago. I really liked it composition-wise, but somehow it didn't get very much attention. Maybe this technical overhaul and synth redesign I did can fix this? We'll see :)

I'm quite sceptical of this one. It's one of those ideas that sound good in the beginning, but are hard to judge after spending some time on it. 
But it still was fun making, what -in the end- is the only thing that really counts ;)

Oh, and thanks to my friend Eric, who tried helping me to find a better title, but in the end convinced me to scrap all the bullsh** I came up with and just stick with the original one ^^

Still alive!
Got my bachelor degree last year and am starting my master soon - exciting times. My main hobby right now is Rocket League, where I'm quite busy organizing community tournaments and competing myself. Follow me on Twitter if you're interested in stuff like that :)

This track was lying around for a long time, I finally mastered it as good as I can. I'm occasionally still working on stuff but I have a really hard time finding inspiration for a full project. So I'll probably still post tracks here from time to time, but with strongly varying gaps inbetween. Thanks for still being around :)
