Marley's music had an immense impact on me as a youth and still resonates today Like many, he was my first introduction to reggae and since my first listen back in the 70s and 80s to now, his music does and will continue to stand the test of time and impact generations of fans and musicians alike for  the high quality of song writing and his message of harmony and peace..

ALPHABETICS is an Indie dance-punk/rock
band from San Jose, Costa Rica.

Hailing from 2012, the style of music is influenced
by many different trends, making it
tough to place them in one specific musical
genre. The result is an awesome musical mix
of alternative dance rock, with Latin beats to
get a crowd moving as they feed off the incredible
energy of the band.

This compilation of talent has captured the attention
of many fans, not to mention media, in
a very short space of time. On March 8th, 2012
they released their debuting 5 track EP by the
name of “Self-destructive”, as well as their Video
Clip “Frutista” which becomes the first piece
of audio and visual material to share on radio
stations, television, online video channels and
social media. The response has been gratifying
in countless ways, meeting and surpassing
expectations with local radio (Frutista reached
#1 on the Hit Parade from 104.7 FM), video
air time on MTV Latin America as well as
MTV Hits, 3 different TV commercials,
1 international movie, to name a
few accomplishments with
this single.

The band’s second single “Another Mistake -
Bistek” was also well received, as it was featured
as the theme song for TV shows, Digital
Sports Campaigns, Radio air time, Digital Billboards
on the road, and several more kinds of
commercial opportunities.

Alphabetics has enjoyed a very promising start
to their career. The band has lined up for Festivals
such as Culture Collide (SF, LA), CMF (Canadian Music Festival),
Red Gorilla (Austin, TX), Holi One Color
Festival, Transitarte, SW!CH, Festival Imperial,
Rock Fest, LEAF Music Festival, Claro Music
Festival, Circulart Music Conference (Medellin,
Colombia) to name a few, sharing their name
with a large amount of major worldwide artists.

Alphabetics is currently playing shows all over
the country, ready to release their second album
in just a few months.
