On December 21, 2002, an Australia woman who went by the nickname Noodsta contacted me and we got to know each other via emails and chats via Yahoo Messenger (which was the most used and most reliable chat app at that time). I do, in fact, know her by name, but out of respect for her privacy, cannot disclose it. 

Though the details of "Noodsta's" personal background was somewhat sketchy even to those who she had given the privilege to become acquainted with her, what I managed to gather was this: She was a native of Adelaide, South Australia, publicly shared her measurements with those she trusted: 36-24-36, worked for S.A.'s state government like her sister had done, owned a studio wherein she taught a kickboxing course, and she was a formidable kickboxer herself. Additionally, she made some hints about becoming an aspiring model and enjoyed wearing attire that represented certain female characters appearing in classic James Bond movies. 

Sometime later, Noodsta took a trip to the U.S., presumably paying a visit to Rochchester, NY, circa 2003-2004 to meet someone she first became enamored with on the internet (long-distance relationship perhaps?), before arriving somewhere in southern CA to visit a prisoner who as of now is still incarcerated at CA State Prison Salano, serving a 15-to-life sentence. Noodsta was very intrigued by the U.S. prison system and decided to befriend the aforementioned prisoner as a show of support.

Nothing else about Noodsta has turned up after 2005 and her whereabouts or addition information concerning her status to this day remain undisclosed. I first created this instrumental around the first quarter of 2003, before Noodsta supposedly visited the U.S. and, like a few instrumentals that I created at that time, I would composed them on a whim, saved them, and put them on the back burner while I was focused on other things such as my artwork. Speaking of which, I have provided a caricature of the woman known as Noodsta as the image that accompanies this instrumental--An instrumental I proudly dubbed Noodsta's Groove.

Noodsta's Groove is a tribute to the vintage R&B sound of the early 1980's yet remains structurally electronic in its delivery (as is the case with LFO Funk). Who knows, had Noodsta and I remained in contact with each other since 2002, I would have had the chance to dedicate Noodsta's Groove to her. 

I hope that all is well with her, wherever on Earth she is--whether it be back home in AU or somewhere in the U.S., and wish her the best of luck in all of her endeavors. :)

The electronically produced music which adorns this particular profile is akin to Monk Fruit for the Mic, Stevia for the Speakers and--above all else--Erythritol for the Eardrums. They are harmonies that consist of the kind of sweetness that your ears would never mind being their weakness. 

As of January 2K20, yours truly Alphard One has something of a schedule--meaning that certain months of the year will have certain tracks in the spotlight playlist in rotation. The following list should provide an example, though tentative at the moment:

*January: Rod Taylor (Based on the late actor best known for his role in The Time Machine, Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds, Outlaws and his portrayal of Winston Churchill in Quentin Tarentino's Inglorious Bastards)and AU (Australia Day).

*March: Kremlin Blok Party (A month long spotlight on underground music's only Soulful Soviet Synth Song--so Stop Stalin And Start Lenin Your Ears.) Hate Putin? You'll at least love the single.

*April: Ambient April and Happy Noodsta Day (An introduction to the Noodsta Saga--the backbone of Aussie Boom Bap, and Coinciding with ANZAC Day in Australia and New Zealand).

*May: Antaeus Envy (Beginning on Cinco de Mayo, May 5, and ending on the 31st) and Queen's Coronation (Beginning on Victoria Day--although, I'm not Canadian, I am down with May Two-Four!)

*August: AMBIENT ALERT! Ambient August, the second month of the calendar year when more tunes which exemplify my take on the Ambient genre can be found on the playlist. In the tradition of Aphex Twin, Tangerine Dream, Brian Eno, Yasuaki Shimizu and The Kyoto Connection.  Yeah, I go there.

*October: The Komenation--In observation and acknowledgement of Breast Cancer Awareness Month(October 1-31)

*November: Post Modern Thump Month (Making Boom Bap Boom Again/Keep Boom Bap Booming)

*December: Russ Tamblyn (whose birthday falls on the 30th of that month) and Alternate Noodsta Day (All month long up until the 19th whereupon a new track based on the Noodsta Saga will be released--Wait and see,,,all I can say at this point)
