about ten minutes of unreleased music - some ideas, drafts, and loops from 2023. no genres, just ideas. i've really liked this format of letting go of things sitting on my hard drive - it's a good exercise in avoiding perfectionism. none of these are perfect, but i like them that way. leaving these the way they are gave me more space+time to make more music this past year. now im setting them free.

I contemplated on whether to post this beat on my main account or to the Beta account as it's a derivative beat. I decided to just say "screw it" and post it here on the main. I'm also leaving this as proof that I don't have to always make "experimental" stuff, lol!

...it feels like I do this every year. I think that I've made the last beat of the year and then my muse all of a sudden just knocks in my door and is like "HEY K, GET A LOAD OF THIS!!"

Anyway, this beat was originally supposed to be a house beat but while making it I was like, "Man...I could put a trap beat over this. Yeah, I'm gonna put a trap beat over this, lol." and that's how I have the "Day" version of this beat. The "Night" version of this beat will be done soon enough, maybe...

Fun Fact: The name of this beat comes from a beat that I made on PSP Rhythm back in 2010 that's been living rent free in my head for like 14 years. Been a while since I've done a House beat, lol.

As promised, here's the Night version of the beat. At first, this was the only version of the beat that would have existed but because an IRL friend wanted me to make a separate version for the trap part, I created a "Day" and "Night" version. That's about it.

Anywho, this is the last beat of the year. FOR REAL this time!
