Alpha Toshineza (aka Gospel Emcee) started writing and performing in the early 90s. Founding member of rap acts HLM and MQP. In 99, he joined Brussels crew Nouvelle Alliance, a collective of Christian rappers and producers. In 2000 he released his first solo project as Gospel Emcee
along numerous mixtapes and EPs, Alpha produced 4 studio albums (Operation Sonlight in 2007, Stéréonucléose in 2013, Jazz Inuit in 2016 and Triple A in 2019). Based in Winnipeg (Manitoba) since 2019, he is the founder of Sonlight Operations. A labal that owns different brands: Jazz Inuit (Music) and the Audiographic Studio (Advertising Agency).
