Translated from French "the sea is a tempest"

2005 recording which I dedicate to my early music inspirations of ELP, Genesis, Camel, Ozric Tentacles, Pink Floyd and a great many other progressive rock bands circa 1970 something with a nod to Tangerine Dream for diversity. This is a one off album I composed, performed and programmed from start to finish and not an atypical AWM release.

UK guitarist Steve Hillman was asked to perform some wonderful spot of vintage guitar on many of the tracks.

Kinetic Transfer

Track from the debut album by Alpha Wave Movement. 

This was to be the genesis of my music making and drew influences primarily from the 1970s and 80s classic electronic pioneers. All music was sequenced on a primitive Yamaha QX7 sequencer with the addition of an Korg EX-800, Poly 800mkII, Kawai K-1 and Boss DS-330 synthesizer direct to a Casio DAT.

My music has been used in Grand Theft Auto 4 and various underground indie short films as well as radio-play over the years on the syndicated space music show Hearts of Space, Soma.fm and Radiospiral(U.K.).
