Human interaction is a personal feeling, but the way we carry ourselves and rely on our wits and sense of humour makes our experience unique and intimate. With the rise of the Internet and social media, radicalisation from every angle has evolved. We have to keep our wits about us and remain able to learn but also be aware of not being psychologically hijacked. Messengeritis is a reflection of how we need to operate in this ever changing world, don’t become radicalised by the messenger.

Our city Bradford experienced heightened racial tensions brought on through external forces. This led to a period of rioting in the city. Humbug Hymn reflects how it is important to understand about multiculturalism. We must as a collective understand other people’s points of view and cultural differences. No one should live in fright black and white unite.

In the 20th century, in a country like ours nobody should be sleeping rough. Behind every person who is homeless is an untold story. They all have there own experiences, so don’t be to quick to judge and try and see beyond the person as they are today. Human warmth helps a person’s soul, so don’t just walk on by.

This song is about the difference between nature and nurture in psychology. Two worlds collide, Who Will Win? This song is about reflecting on the journey of life. Life and the way that we are is a complex issue, its organic in nature so lets explore the topic.

This song is about a personal journey regarding addiction. Addiction which took control of Greenie's life for 25 years and lead to a place of darkness. This song celebrates the freedom that is gained through recovery but also understanding how addiction should always be treated with a healthy fear. The lie is over and we do recover.

There is a raw power when the community becomes as one. This was on display recently during the covid 19 lockdowns. Sometimes it takes a crisis for a society to take a look at itself. Society dictates pressure on an individual and sometimes it’s important for us to understand what the bigger picture means to us as a community.

 Bradford's answer to a lost, loved era of Indie, Soul and Disco Punk. With all the Manchunian Swagger of The Happy Mondays and Stone Roses fused with the smattering of world inspired music. Electronic dance beats and samples and anything else you fancy throwing in?  The fun, avant garde, eclectic band with their unmistakable progressive grooves are definitely difficult to pigeon-hole. In the midst of the multitudes of self-proclaimed celebrity freaks, The Band are in no way here to serve ,emulate and perpetuate the main stream norms. They cast a colouful light in the fringes of what should be grey areas and more so emboldened by variety.
The breath of fresh air and 'no bullshit' policy make the Movement a force to be reckoned with, especially when 'Loud Hailer' Phillip (Greenie) Greenaway embarks upon his poetry. Backed up with the band consisting of Alpine veteran Stephen 'Aky' Atkins on guitars, Jamie 'Jimbob' Hamilton on keyboards, Jonny 'Boy' Eyres on drums and new-comer Joe Buchaldzin the whole deal provides a nuanced Wall of Sound unlike any other band. It's sure to make you listen. Vocal, energetic themes of social dysfunction and geopolitical failings are forged in a unique and powerful torrent of rhythms. This is 'The ALPiNE MØVEMENT way'.
