Sublime, Plastikman, Tv on the Radio, Richie Hawtin, Justin Timberlake, and others blended together in an effort to communicate and inspire the extraterrestrial life forms who broke into my house, invited a bunch of people over, demanded I DJ for them while they held an epic psychedelic break dance battle in on my kitchen floor so they could have linoleum surfaces for their moves. They made me one of the judges of the competition. Them homies from Zeta Reticula ain’t playin round with the bottom rock and my Martian squad killed it with the interplanetary pop n lock. Alp Kargoren is a boundary-pushing house music artist from Istanbul, infusing his DJ sets and productions with a unique blend of influences. Starting on the electric guitar, Alp’s love for music evolved into DJing in 2016, where he quickly attracted audiences at top venues across Turkey. By 2020, Alp had begun producing his own tracks, with his 2023 EP “Choices” breaking through the charts, reaching 4th in the Top 100 Deep House and 5th in the Top 100 Minimal/Deep Tech on Beatport.
In 2024, Alp was invited to perform at the Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE), solidifying his place as an emerging force in the electronic music scene.
