Mediteranos is an independent music and art label that rooted the basis of its idea; developing our own voice, igniting the fire within  and exploring unknown territories through sounds gravitating genres and soundscapes,  in search of sensual stimulation and visual association. Sister label and pirate radio, Salasi is all about obscure transmissions. No genres, no explanations. 

Listen to a core member of MEDS, 00970: Palestinian electronic musician and sound designer, who creates music by using sampled material, field recordings topped with industrial textures. The results range between, ambience, experimental, drone, and cinematic sounds fused with techno.

[MEDS X] This new release by 00970, Khatim Sulaiman, is a unique collaboration between a diverse array of artists from around the world. Unified by one imaginative piece, lending itself to a wider spectrum of visions of sound from four unique artists, each having created a variation that stays true to the original soul while infusing it with its own energy and spirit. Different souls originating from one acoustic body, different styles extending from the same sound identity.

Ya Hu is a Ramallah based DJ, mixing industrial sounds and techno. She is also co-founder of Fana collective. Her work aims to disassemble the cultural atmosphere of our everyday life practices. Such a process is meant to disturb the cultural traditions and liberate them from colonial and patriarchal roots. Yasmin published several papers on topics related to cultural heritage and state-building and played at different music events in Ramallah, Cairo, and London.
