Further to my journey in Senegal and in Casamance, region in which I acquired a balafon, here is a music to tell a story rich in meetings and in discovery.

Serigne Touba is as a prophet in Senegal. It was prisoner of the colonists during 7 years, 7 months and 7 days. He had a follower called Sheik Ibrahima Fall. Every year, their small sons, big marabou celebrate the magal to Touba. They prepare meals which are distributed, pray and sing to the glory of their prophet, Bamba who means, everywhere! Peace

Further a journey in South America, Alsahm lives during more than a month with the community " Boras ". He's inspired with traditional natural singings and element.
Amazona tells this story with the song of the dean and the mother of the leader of the village.

Suite à son dernier voyage au Senegal, Alsahm présente à travers son Ep
ainsi que son single/clip, son histoire, son vécu, dans ce pays d'adoption. En
effet depuis sa première aventure en 2014. Il y rencontre Omar, son futur
maestro de percussion avec sa famille, qui se révélera également comme un
guide spirituel. C'est avec un de ces fils que Alsahm découvre la ville Sainte
de Touba lors de la grande célébration du Magal. Une cérémonie ayant lieu
chaque année pour célébrer le retour d'exil d'un des leur, considéré comme
un messager, Serigne Touba, appeler également Cheikh Ahmadou Bamba.
Bamba dans cette culture signifie: Partout!
