This is an original remix of the song 'Lux Aeterna' by Clint Mansell & The Kronos Quartet, that was the main score in the film Requiem For A Dream. The main score of the film has a classical string of quartets (viola, cello etc.) that sounds like the sound of suffering and addiction. So, the main set of strings I did sample, I threw on some dubstep beats and wobbles and some other FX's that is coming in at around 134 BPM in F sharp minor.

It's probably blasphemy to remix a Florence + The Machine song since her music transcends space and time, but I went ahead and turned this great song into a low-key dubstep banger, yet turning it into something light and ethereal. 

I added other effects for atmospherics, and drew out her voice so that you can really focus on the lyrics and made sure to go light on the dubstep this time around. Essentially, keeping its essence; the essence of the original song. I had lots of fun coming up with my own melody for the beats... but I love Florence!!!
