My debut ALTA album - 

This has been a long time coming,  if you had told me when i made the first ALTA track back in 2014 that the album wouldn't happen until after the end of the world, well, i wouldn't have believed you. But, here we are.  My new/debut album of a project that has been slow burning for a long time,  it took me a while to get exactly what my angle was as i wanted to make music that sounds like sunshine, but doesn't sound crap/cheesy/boring/standard/basic.
I wanted the grit and drive of my harder work to be combined with the gentle end of what i like to make. So a fiddled around with knobs in a skunk induced haze while pandemics happened. I ignored the world as psy-trance got harder and darker and faster.  I chose to push it the other way.  So if you can gather anything for that it is,  that i did not copy anyone!  This is truly unique music that does not sound like ANYONE ELSE and (hopefully) sounds nice!!

Set played for the annual gathering of Kalani Magical Forest Festival, which was themed 'Trust The Process'.

The title is a reference to the cosmic event that happened during the gathering and mainly while i was playing. The Full Moon was setting on one side of the gathering, the sun was rising on the opposite side and i was right under the libra constellation, which is my astrological sign. Just the right mix to shake your soul.

The gathering had one of its best line-up ever, it was magical for everyone. Never saw so many tears of happiness in of our events. We were so overwhelmed with joy, happiness, gratitude and satisfaction for having delivered Kalani's spirit to all our participants. 

Trust The Process is something that we all can apply in our everyday life, just like we trust the process of awakening spiritually through any means. A process is something that you live through to achieve or reach your goal. 

Our aim at Kalani is to reach/awake as many people as we can through our actions and devotion to the psychedelic scenery. 

I hope you enjoy the journey ahead.

Fernando dos Santos, A.K.A Digital X, is a Journalist and a Bachelor in Marketing from Faculdade da Cidade, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. His first contact with psytrance happened in Europe, circa 1998, when, he toured the old continent as a professional Bodydoarder.He began his career as a trance DJ in 2003, becoming a member and resident DJ of RIOPARADE, E-Quality. Of his numerous performances, some highlights are the 2005 performance alongside Dimitri Nakov and Astrix in the E-Music Festival in Rio and the amazing 2007 New Year’s Eve celebration at the world famous Ipanema Beach, when he played following Infected Mushroom at the event organized by Guarana Antactica Stereo, to an audience of almost one million people. . He also did a back to back with Stas (Vibe Tribe).Digital X-now part of PROFOUND RECORS(India) Festival Alternativo Kranti (Brazil)
