"Both tracks have a great techno sound that fits well within the realm of Enigma EP. They remind of some of the works from artists like Boris Brechja, Deniz Bul, Amelie Lens, and Charlotte de Witte.

In terms of production quality, as always, Luke tracks are clean and crisp, with clear basslines and rhythmic elements that keep the listener engaged throughout their runtime. I especially appreciate how each track has its own unique atmosphere, ranging from darker sounds to more energetic vibes.

The first track, "Drunk Pistoleiro," features heavy kick drums and pulsing synth stabs that build tension and drive the tempo forward. There are occasional breaks in the beat that add variety and provide opportunities for interesting transitions. Overall, this track creates a moody, hypnotizing effect that would fit perfectly in any late-night dance floor set.

On the other hand, "Enigma" takes things up a notch with driving percussion and shimmering melodies. This one feels faster paced and packed with energy, making it perfect for peak time sets. The production work here is particularly impressive as the layers come together seamlessly, creating a cohesive groove that gets feet moving on the dancefloor.

Both tracks are strong offerings that showcase Colborn's technical skills and creativity. As a fan of the genre, I can confidently say that these tracks will find plenty of playtime at DJ booths across the globe. Hoova's 'Midnight' EP offers a soothing and mellow listening experience with its downtempo electronic vibes. The two tracks on the EP transport the listener to a calm and peaceful state of mind.

The title track 'Midnight' sets the tone with a laidback beat and atmospheric synths that evoke the stillness of the night. Hoova's production creates a dreamy sonic landscape that allows the mind to wander freely. The melodies unfold slowly and organically, building subtly over time. The percussion is sparse and understated, allowing the lush synth textures to take center stage.

The second track 'Akumal' continues in a similarly hypnotic direction, featuring shimmering piano chords, twinkling percussion, and airy synth pads. Mina's latest album "Lost and Remembered" takes the listener on a journey of introspection and discovery through her ethereal ambient soundscapes. Across its 8 tracks, the album explores themes of memory, loss, and emotional awakening. 

The album opens with "Silent Remembrance", the shimmering piano build an atmosphere of warmth and mystery. Crackling textures evoke a campfire in the night, drawing the listener in. We are transported to a place of reflection on things past. 

"A Tribute To The Unknown" transports the listener through foggy forests and hidden glades with its lush pads and drifting melodies. Half-remembered sensations and images flit at the edges of perception. Mina invites us to wander among the trees and rediscover parts of ourselves overgrown by time.

Standout track "Whispers Of The Past" features Mina's most intricate and emotive composition yet. Layered Bojan's vocals and a heart-swelling string motif take us to the edge of tears as forgotten feelings are unearthed. We are left cleansed yet haunted by everything we once knew and have since lost deep within. 

"Lost and Remembered" brings some more of the deepest emotions. Strings swell to immense heights before falling away into the void, only to rise again, a cycle of rediscovery and loss. We are left contemplating all we have uncovered during Mina's cathartic sonic journey through memory and emotion. 

Through her evocative soundscapes, Mina has crafted an album that will stay with listeners long after the final notes fade, inviting quiet reflection on life's deepest mysteries of feeling found and feeling lost. "Lost and Remembered" is ambient music at its most soulful and transcendent.

Here is the brand new album from Astral Waves, aka DJ Zen.

Altar Records offers you a trip to the land of the Thousand and One Nights with "La Danse de la Lune" (Moon Dance).
This album is natural, organic with a lot of instrumentation. Almost all of the instruments were recorded in the studio between 2015 and 2020, specifically to create the unique and groovy vibe of this album.
You may recognize some song names here, already released in compilations. They have been completely reworked here.

The work on this album was considerable: it took 5 years to achieve it in order to be satisfied with the results...It played in Astral Waves live sets at outdoor festivals in Canada and Europe and received many positive feedback. Gaudi really liked "Lullaby for the Godchild" at Samsara 2018.

All the thanks go to the fabulous artists who put their hands in the dough: Project Æolia on the flute, DJ Parhladji aka Patrick Bernard and Lydia on vocals, Rachel on the flute on track # 5, Elea for the vocals and instruments in the remixes as well as Sufi's Life and Merlin also for their composition work. A big thanks to Amani Friend from Desert Dwellers for his trust and patience as well as Louis from Suduaya for his amazing guitar play on track # 5.
