Altar Records is proud to offer MK Ultra "UltraWaves" to the light of day!

DJ Jeff Mk Ultra is known to be one of the first goa-trance pioneers in France and Canada. His energy on the dance-floors all over the world while playing his sets is still legendary until now.
Trance is part of his mind and he naturally knows how to share a trance state music experience.
He released many records back in the days, starting in 1994 with "Escape From Anywhere" on Step 2 House Records, wrote legendary goa-trance anthems with Virtuart under the moniker Underhead, released on Coyote Records, AUM Records, etc. 

DJ St Pierre was also in Paris at the birth of the goa-trance scene and they played together many times at so many parties and festivals. St Pierre is now a mastering engineer and sound designer.

He met with DJ Zen (aka Astral Waves) in 1997 in Canada and since then their career path followed each other.
It's in between two lock-downs at the beginning of 2021 that they decided to make some music together, starting at Jeff's Yoga Studio in Paris and finalized at distance, thanks to internet.
After a few months this album was born from Mk ULTRA main arrangements and compositions and Astral WAVES concept in rhythm. So they naturally named themselves "Ultra Waves".

Mina's new offering "Perfect Isolation" is a chill-out album perfect for relaxing, studying, revision, chilling and lounging.

Self-produced, her third album was a personal experience for the artist, creating music alone and utilizing her emotions and experiences as a theme for her project.
The entire album is very sentimental, and compiles numerous textures, supported throughout by rich textures, calming melodies and rich soothing vocals.

Definitely worth a full listen, especially on a rainy day or a relaxing, late night.

Microcosmos Records presents extended space mix Thurayya by Grasz & Schultz.

Despite being pretty experienced, successful solo artists, in 2019 Jule Grasz and Hans Schultz decided to create a duet Grasz & Schultz. Each musician has an independent style: Jule is good at creating floating, airy sounds, and Hans adds some groove and energy. As a result, listeners enjoy heart-catching, unique, deep sound, and their new release Thurayya is no exception.

This continuous mix is named after a star cluster the Pleiades, called Thurayya in ancient times. While listening, you start feeling the magic energy of Astro bodies - just let the music go deep in your conscience. Musicians describe the genre as downbeat chillout, although they tried not to confine themselves to any convention, experiment, and trust their intuition. And, of course, amazing work with a synthesizer as the major instrument makes it sound really voluminous and diverse.

This is an extended mixed version of album Thurayya, released by Grasz & Schultz today on Microcosmos Records.
