Alter Ego Bio.

 
Dj / Producer Alter Ego. (Michael Bowles) has worked on Drunken Masters "Dope Ammo" label tuning his craft, with collaborations which have received acclaim amongst the Drum and Bass community. In Aug 05 he was BBC 1Xtra's cutting room winner. He was then signed to Maximum Ammo Records, founded by Coco (Dope Ammo) & Dj Swan-E (Maximum Boost) for new up and coming artists.
 His 1st release was "Mortal Kombat" MA002, this tune showed everyone what he was all about. After the success of his last release he hit the scene with a dance floor bomb "Space Race" MA004 which was heavily supported by 1xtra, Brockie, Zinc, Mampi Swift, Darren Jay, Nicky Blackmarket & J Majik etc..
 He then followed up with "Infection / Every Single Sound" MA005 carrying on his trade mark style. By now he had started getting a name for himself, and in Sept 07' he got a track signed by Mickey Finns new imprint label Finn People Productions, which has already seen the likes of Modified Motion, Ego Trippin and Erb n Dub.
 
In 2010 he started working for 2 digital labels Global Domination and Karma digital releasing his first EP Lost in bass which was a instant hit across the uk . In 2011 after a few more releases his tune Step It Up was snapped up by Futurebound from Viper Recordings who released it on the summer slammers album. This was along side some of the biggest names in Drum & Bass. Futurebound, Metrik, Camo & Krooked, Brookes Brothers, Delta Heavy, Smooth, Dc Breaks and Ed rush & Optical just to name a few. This was his biggest signing so far but then things just got better and better. 

In 2012 Alter Ego joined forces with Dangerous New Age Recordings and Live & Dangerous, and has since been under the watchful eye of Scoop. Since then he has successfully worked with Major artist Franco & The Dreadnought who was signed to Universal Records under the name International One. Alter Ego then went on to get a publishing deal with London based major publishing company All Media Music LTD since being on the labels.
 In November 2012 Alter Ego was selected to work on a remix for Live & Dangerous which had the full support from the UKS Number 1 promo team Power Promotions. Power Promotions is a company that is widely known for national club promotions who work alongside artist like DJ Fresh, Tario Kruz, Rhianna etc etc. 
Alter Ego's new release Dark Matter has just been picked up by Andi Durrant on Capital FM and it was played as the last tune of the night on Friday 1st March 2013.
 Alter Ego has also been impressing J Majik & Wickaman and there are talks of a possible release coming in the near future on the mighty Infrared Recordings. At the beginning of this year Alter Ego was asked along with Rico and Scoop to be a remixer for Wrongtom Meets Deemas J. Wrongtom & Deemas J have been getting huge props in all kinds of magazines and their debut LP In East London was recommended for a MERCURY AWARD at the end of last year!
 The track he was asked to remix is called Superteng and is their follow up track from the hugely successful album in East London .
 This will be coming out on Tru Thoughts which is British godfather Rodney p plus partners in crime Fallacy and Garage legend Zed Bias label. Superteng is set to drop on April 1st and comes with a remix from Benny Page and Mo Matic plus someone else.
