Through Sounds is proud to present our most ambitious project yet - the "Fool's Gold" Remix EP. We are aiming to crowdfund the vinyl release with the digital release scheduled to follow 7 August 2017.

Bone (IM:LTD / Context Audio / Authentic Music) brings his trademark no-nonsense roller vibes to the EP, with meticulously placed midrange stabs fluidly interchanging with sharp drum edits throughout the deep, but sub heavy underlying tones of the remix itself.

inZtance (Med School / Warm Communications / Vampire Records) produced "Fool's Gold" featuring Laura James on vocals in late 2015 and it was released a year later as a part of his solo EP on Through Sounds. The whole EP, but particularly "Fool's Gold", received a lot of great feedback and garnered the attention of some heavyweights in the scene, including airplay on BBC Radio 1.

It seemed only logical to revisit the themes of the original track by having Through Sounds label regulars put their own twist on it. Insert into the equation artists like HeadRead, Out Of Fuel, Bone and Insect and the remix EP was born.

With the digital release mastered by none other than Break (Symmetry Records) of Cygnus Music and the vinyl masters provided by Subvert Central, we have included the talents of the best in the scene to make sure that we perfect every aspect of this great collection of music.
