We are finally launching our own mix series, the altered states guestlist. 
The series will be a platform for friends of the label and upcoming DJs that we enjoy listening to. 
The first mix was put together by our very own dj n/a. Here are his words about the mix: 

"hi there,
it’s dj n/a kicking off the altered states’ "guest list" mix series. welcome to the party.

for this 1st installment i set out to deliver a vinyl only mix of timeless tracks spanning two decades of house music.

my intention was to keep the mix at a consistent tempo. so I had to pick tracks that maintain their flow and feel even when pitched down. a mark of quality in my eyes. tbh i had to go on the market to get some of the records but well ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

i expect you to dance your socks off!"

The second edition of our mix series is provided by label co-founder Green Ink (@greeninkmusic). Here’s what he has to say about his contribution:

"I wanted to focus on a range of old and new house music favorites in the 120s while not changing tempo too much. I started out around 117bpm and worked my way up to 127bpm when the energy started flowing. 
The mix was recorded in my living room with two 1210s, two 2000s and an Ecler nuo mixer. 
I very much hope you enjoy these two hours as much as I did.

We are excited to share the first album on the label: "Loops of Love" by our very own Green Ink (@greeninkmusic). Unlike his previous releases, this project is made for pure, deep listening rather than the dance floor.

Here are a few of his words about the release:

"The album project originally started with the idea to soundtrack nature trips but shortly after got paused due to procrastination and shift in focus toward creating music for the dance floor. Thanks to a beautiful life event in late August 2024, a wave of new inspiration sparked it again and motivated me to finish it in a very different, and deeply personal context.
I hope it can soundtrack beautiful moments in whatever context the listeners (you) like."
