interesting... quite familiar and nice guys

Written during the first lockdown. It was obvious that no generation had ever experienced what we were all going through - so I need to write about it.
'It's not like we’d ever choose…….’
Wasn't sure where the song was going, so decided to build up the ending to EPIC proportions with 'Moog Taurus' bass pedals, Mellotron choirs, strings, brass and the kitchen sink!
Helped immensely by the very talented Mr Rob Rowles (aka ’Badger’) on piano, strings and brass sections, and the equally talented Alex Pearson who played the double bass.

Not Like

Here’s a song I wrote a few years ago now - it’s about the innocence of youth, and how becoming an adult shatters that innocence.
This was written on piano (I’m no pianist, so please excuse the basic playing!), but transposes nicely to guitar for when I play it live.
