Check out his Unterholz-mixes, too, where he has a soft spot for German-language music from all of Switzerland, Austria, Germany and his “homeland“ Bavaria.

Andy Toth casts a long shadow in the Detroit scene. From being co-founder of the Detroit Grand Pubahs to working as an engineer and mixer, he’s worked on so many records that you know but in his egoless way, didn’t know he was part of. Being the co-author of “Sandwiches” took him around the world, but more importantly it was the hold music for Mudgie’s, a legendary Detroit Deli run by another long standing denizen of the Detroit underground, Greg Mudge. Greg Mudge was a true pillar of our techno community in Detroit, from showing us the venue for the first leaky roof No Way Back, to throwing his own events and supporting great people. One of those people was Andy Toth, who he was constantly pressuring to release his music, and this became a major theme of Greg Mudge’s memorial.  When Greg suddenly passed last September, some friends came in to DJ his memorial like Derek Plaslaiko. When it was Andy Toth’s turn he played only his own productions and we were all just so blown away. Mudgie was always asking Andy “what’s up with those tracks?” And this record is the answer,  a testament to that thought, and to the deeply layered and detailed work of Andy Toth. Andy has created a uniquely dense Detroit Sci Fi trip through sound, with elements of acid, electro, techno that result in an advanced and mature adventure in sound, reflecting his roots in the Detroit scene, but pushing it into new hypnotic futures, to boldly go where no one has gone before.

I am honored to welcome Milan Hermess next on Haus Nummer 11. 

Milan is a true music freak and vinyl lover with over a decade of DJing experience and co-runs the ever evolving Mechatronica, a Berlin-based record label, promoter and collective founded in 2012. 

Heavily influenced by the West Coast Sound of Holland and Berlin’s nightlife culture, his mixes touch upon all genres within alternative dance music. For HN11, he cooked up a thrilling mix of moody soundscapes, heavy percussion, trippy rollers and a pinch of classy electro. 

Be sure to catch him at @mechatronicamusic's next club night at @sameheads on the 26th of November 2022 or at one of their future events at @oxi-garten and Sameheads in 2023.

If you've been looking for interesting, funny and very carefully selected music on the Internet, you might have already come across Peter's Soundcloud channel. He regularly irregular releases mixtapes of a more special kind, often based on a theme, a region or a language. But he also likes to simply dj lively original music from the past and present (which is then based on the past). ;). It can be edgy, unexpectedly satisfying and simply very smooth for everyday life. Often real, non-electronic instruments play a major role in his mixes and of course vocals! 

Dinger Fizz, with its demand for music with real people on the drums, is home territory for Peter. So here comes an hour of upbeat drum music. With covers, originals and undiscovered gems!

I played my first liveset ever with three machines at the 2 year anniversary of ZIRKA. Playing my very own music live instead of DJing was something I wanted to do for ages but never actually managed to pull through, so thanks to the people of ZIRKA and @radio80000 for giving me the chance, besides being nervous as f*ck I really enjoyed playing! The set was meant to be a kind of warm-up-liveset, as I was opening the big room for an allnight rave.

I used three machines: Digitakt as main sequencer and sampler, TB3 for basslines, Electribe 2 for polyphonic stuff and transitions. Everything went into the mixer you see on the left. No laptop, yay!
