SANIL/Alter State is the stage name of DJ/Producer "Sanil Sudan" based in New Delhi.Founder of TheMassive.in - India's only definitive bass heavy community and the brains/DJ behind many popular concept parties in the capital (Habit & PureNoise), Sanil brings his own musicality and knowledge to what he descibes the underground Sound.

Always fesh and innovative, Sanil can be seen playing raw & edgy House/Techno under his SANIL alias at once OR bring out the bassbins in full glory with his deeper/sub heavy take on Bass Music under the Alter State moniker, following a journey like structure in his sets on and off the floor, tracks handpicked to match various styles and mood, Sanil can always be relied on to push conventional sounds into new and unconventional directions.

Being part of the burgeoning dance music scene in Delhi, Sanil apart from promoting various club nights at various hotspots like 24/7 @Lalit, Ai-The Love Hotel, Double Decker Bar, Kuki , Shooters, Zoo Bar, Zook, Mojo, Out of the Box, TLR has been invited over to play at Festivals like BassCamp , Holi Cow & guest spots at BASSFoundation, Delitronica playing alongside massive headline acts like Klute (U.K/Commercial Suicide) , NuTone (U.K/Hospital Records), Ant TC 1 (Dispatch Recordings), Henry Saiz (Bedrock) and various other local acts.

With much focus on playing and pushing raw grungy and intricate music coupled with favorable reviews on his productions, Sanil is an artist much to look out for in the future.
