As summer begins to dwindle and the days become shorter, it’s nice to know that there are still some tunes coming through that will bring a bit of sunshine into your life. Take Roy Green & Protone’s forthcoming EP release, “Jazzypansts”, as one fine example, and coincidentally the next release from the Innerground camp.

Next up is the title track “Jazzypants”. Featuring the strong and unmistakeable sound of an upright bass strung in amongst some staccato beats and a minimal overall sound, this is a quintessential dancefloor killer.

The Jazzypants EP will be available as a three track EP download exclusively from Juno Download from the 6th October.
The two track single will be available everywhere else from the 20th October.

It's hard to believe that it has been 10 years since the first "Heavy Dub" compilation! And even harder to believe the label is now 15 years old! We are very proud of this, since not many small, independent labels last this long!

The "Heavy Dub" series began as a simple idea for the label's birthday. I simply took a bunch of reggae/dub style tracks that we had released before and put them up as a free download on our bandcamp. Very soon it was clear that this is not just a small idea for the anniversary, it's one of the best ideas we had! Over the years the compilation series kept coming out every year, and for the last few we had original unreleased tracks only. As some of you know, I recently put my label, ОЧІ https://soundcloud.com/ochi_ua , on hiatus — a decision that opened up a new, unknown path for me.
I started listening to music I hadn’t touched before…
This mix is not only a reflection of the past 5 months of intense listening and curating — it’s also a statement of what’s coming next.

Villem & McLeod return to Samurai Red Seal for another outing to follow their successful pairing on 'Hush' for the label in 2012 which was part of one of the labels biggest 12"s ever. This time both sides of the record are collaborative pieces and both tunes are overflowing with glistening summer vibrations. 

'Another Star' has been heavily supported by the likes of Marcus Intalex (who debuted it on his Soul:ution Radio Show), London Elektricity, and of course Friction who has been hammering the tune on his BBC Radio 1 show, as well as picking it up for inclusion on his forthcoming Fabriclive CD.
