Kris wakes up in the caves. They find Susie and Ralsei, and does minecart puzzles to progress. They find Shadowmen who are talking about the Dark Fountain, Susie chases them, you run after her, and a chase scene happens where you have to dodge bullets and music. After finding them, they tell you that they're stuck and if you help them out then they'll bring you to the dark fountain. After doing a minecart ride puzzle, they get freed, but they leave before you get there. You Tenna Travel to Tenna Town, where the gang splits up to try to find the fountain. The protagonist goes to the northwestern most building, where the green room is. Susie is asleep on the Green Room couch, and if you interact  with her, you battle Godzilla as Suzilla in Susie's dream. You meet Tenna who sends you to his mansion, where Toriel is. You meet Toriel and she joins the party or you can fight her but Susie stops you from killing her. Toriel has fire magic. You go back to Tenna, who tells you to deal with Mike "Mercial" Rook, who controls commercials, which Tenna dislikes. Because Tenna doesn't like Mike, he didn't put a Tenna Travel near his studio, but near Trash Zone, which is as close as you can get to Mike's studio. In trash zone, you find Fleur, who is the secret boss. He wants you to collect other flowers that are hidden throughout the dark world. Once you collect them all (2 from mines, 3 from Tenna Town, 1 from Tennas mansion, 1 from Trash Zone, 1 from Mike's studio, 3 from Tenna Tower, and 1 from the Cloud Domain), Fleur would be happy and would ask you to kill him because you collected the flowers meaning you could do anything. After the battle, Fleur would either wilt and give you the Sharp Rose weapon (Geno) or the Flower Crown made with the flowers you found (Paci). Once you reach Mike's Studio, you fight some of his henchmen, and then his new intern, Monster Kid. After you defeat MK, you battle Mike, and no matter what, his studio shuts down and gets turned into a shop by Scamton, a Spamton like darkner. You head back to Tenna Town where Tenna tells you to help out the weather duo. For the first time you enter Tenna Tower, and take the elevator up to the clouds. You meet the weather duo. To the left you can go to Weather Wares, in the middle is the Weather broadcast, and on the right are 3 houses. Weather wares is a shop. 2 of the houses are the weather duos', and the last one contains a note that says "I'm sorry." In Tenna Town, a third Weather Duo member who represents rain says "Welcome to Tenna Town!" usually. If you show him the note, they'll say "... Thank you." and leave. This is completely optional. In the weather broadcast, you just explain the weather in various dark worlds. They'll bring out Snowy trapped in a cage after, and say: "A 4 for 1 Lightner special?" "What a deal!" You battle the duo, or if you showed the third duo member the note, he comes in mid-battle and joins in the battle, adding more attacks, making it a bit harder. After the battle, Snowy is freed and the 3rd member, if he's there, gives you a Weather Sceptor weapon. You head back down, and Tenna shows you to the fountain. Susie let's it slip that it'll destroy the dark world. Tenna didn't know this, and scared, sends everyone to the vault After escaping with Lancer (again) the group traverses Tenna Tower by sneaking. They encounter Shadowmen and run up, where they do a final battle with Tenna, who can change up how each character looks, so Kris could really be Susie or etc. You need to find Tenna and attack him. If you attack the wrong person, they'll take damage. The way to know how to find who's who is by looking which character moves when you attack or act. When you beat Tenna, Mike will come back laugh track style and fight you one final time. When you beat him, you go home, Susie reveals that she's an orphan, and Toriel comforts her. Finally, Susie, Kris, and Toriel go to the diner and to skip stones, and they go back to Kris's home to end the chapter.

This third song was a suggestion by Caprock64Draws [https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCvEc_qekhLFNfsBfp7iywIg/], suggesting a Spear of Justice for Monster Kid. I've always had the idea that Monster Kid would make for a kick-ass soccer player, and that if put in Undyne's role that could be one of their main gimmicks. I'm not entirely sure how this would play out in a fully-fledged AU, but that was never the point.

tbh i feel like basically every big question except for kris, the knight's motives, and wtf ralsei is doing during the intermissions have been sufficiently answered. spoilers, the knight is carol, noelle is the angel (specifically, the angel of death like the legend from undertale too!), dark worlds are real and not just an elaborate dnd game, the roaring is real, and the deltarune legend probably foretells the snowgrave route given their reaction to its ending(?) [scratch that, i agree with pastra's theory so much more.]

but i'm still very curious as to what physical item ralsei is in real life, since he's a darkner too. what, is he just a stray hair from asriel on kris's pant leg?
another question is why endogeny appeared in that cutscene with spamton eyes and why the nes nightmare summons it and why it was in the basement in chapter 2



also i noticed a lot of covers can't quite get the timing right for this song. the tempo is a clean 130bpm once you realize its still 4/4, you just need to set it to 3rd/6th notes for the whole song! very popular for jazz and swing, dummy did it too, i use it often myself
