This is a scrapped song from my new album "30 Years Later" dropping December 14th. I love this song, but I don't think it's absolutely perfect for the masterpiece I am working on. This is for sure about an ex, but I don't want to think it fits into the "growing up" mentality of this album. So, here it is. In Your Eyes.

Here is a story that I've never publicly told about the loss of my father. I was 7 back in 2001, I am believing it will touch some people and maybe encourage more people to open up and not forget where they came from... Let's remember that the Bible promises death will be "swallowed up in victory," Isaiah 25:8 that "the last enemy to be destroyed is death." 1 Corinthians 15:26 We have such a hope when Christ returns and gathers us up never to die again unless we're still alive at that time. 1 Thessalonians 4:16
