Subsonic by Excision definitely influenced my taste in dubstep and how I write it.
So remixing this track was really cool and exciting for me. 

I heard the original song years before I even liked dubstep. Came across it because the song was part of some meme back then and I thought it was cool. I always loved and appreciated what was done in the intro and how the whole theme and story was put together. It really nails one of the main things I love about this genre, which is having the freedom to really paint pictures and scenes in creative ways.
