A familiar face for the ninth ALU podcast: Max Rfr. Some of you might know Max from playing at one of the very first ALU sessions. This DJ, producer but also organizer (based in Tilburg) is known for his deep, dynamic, hypnotic, and firm sound, but always with a groovy element. Which makes him a perfect fit with ALU. He also doesn’t shy away when it comes to experimenting with styles and music. He always thrives to tell his own authentic story through his music and takes the crowd on a journey.

In 2020 he co-founded ‘Eindstation’ in Utrecht, where he is also a resident. They want to go back to the essence and intimacy of the techno and club culture. They believe the underground is where the soul of the scene resides. They held their first official event at the Helling Utrecht in 2022.

Kasper Melchior is a danish DJ, resident at Ved Siden Af and a core member of the Copenhagen techno scene for around 15 years. 
He played a key part in developing the pulsating local scene we know today by organizing and hosting parties in Copenhagen, from established clubs to DIY raves. Currently organizing the party series Extended Family along with Henrik Krog and Tight Cherry.
