Africa Speaks Podcast: New Beginnings

In this episode, we talk to Given Edward and Alex Mativo, two ALU recipients of the Queens Young Leaders award. They discuss their initiatives and how they are working to take education outside the classroom space and recycle e-waste respectively. 

Given is the founder of MyElimu, an online discussion forum that leverages peer learning and allows Tanzanian secondary school students to discuss what what they study in school. Alex is the founder of e-lab, a start-up that aims to reduce electronic waste in Africa by making art, fashion and other innovative products out of it.
