The Big Cat is in the house again with two collab tracks plenty of synth layers, techno feelings and dancefloor vibes. 'Back To Oblivion' is produced together with the Bulgarian rising star Timmo, well known by his releases on Drumcode. The track is leaded by a mental arpeggio which is growing & growing until an explosive breakdown. 'Sun And Sand' was made by the Suaras boss, the Canadian Weska and the German Kevin de Bries, it's elegant and intense techno track produced around a female sample vox.

For Respekt 164, we welcome back two of our favourite heavy-hitters: Skober and Yan Oxygen. This time working in concert to create the mesmerising 'Lost in Dreams', the Ukrainian duo have melded hints of late-90s progressive melody with a super-fresh techno undercarriage to create something quite unique. The remix comes courtesy of Belgian duo Joyhauser, who wind up the toughness and stretch out the break, before slamming us with some nasty synth blasts. To complement the lead track, Skober goes solo on the acid and vocal driven 'I Wanna See'.

It’s been a while since we released a V/A on Noir Music and I only ever compile them whenever I feel I have 5-6 tracks that stand out.

Dark Stars Volume 4 has been 6 months in the making and yes..... I know I am picky with the music I sign. I hear that on an almost daily basis.
But even though I could pick music from many different artists it still took me months of compiling, testing the music in clubs and at festivals and then putting together the tracks I felt stood out and complimented each other.

The great thing about V/A’s is that you get the chance to put together a release from artists with completely different sounds and ideas.
Although the sound of Dark Stars Volume 4 is quite minimal sounding overall, it still reflects musicality and great in-depth productions by skillful and experienced artists.
Another great thing about Volume 4 is that these are all artists who make their debut on Noir Music.

I truly love playing every single track from this release and I enjoy watching the crowds reactions around the globe.
I feel no need to get deeper into detail about the specific tracks, as the music will speak for itself.
