In the remixes, the Spanish team formed by JG Outsider, Arkademode - which also premieres on Espacio Cielo - and the label manager, Parissior (@parissior), each contributing versions in different directions between Nu Disco and Dark Disco.

Belgium Duo Marching Machines joins Roam Recordings with a delightful EP of thoughtful electronic music that, while it can be filed under indie dance/dark disco, has a sound of its own. The title track Alfheim is an anthem born of machines that does the duo’s namesake proud. Heimdal takes the mood into a darker realm with its masterful synth worth over perfectly programmed drum machines. Midgaard keeps it dark with its driving arpeggios underpinning lush pads.

The EP is backed by remixes from Younger Than Me and Mufti. Younger Than Me is up first with an uptempo rave version that brings psychedelic acid to the party. Roam alumni Mufti brings the tempo back down into a groove with a warbly bass leading to a refreshing melody to round out the EP

Opening the EP, Capricious Society has all it takes to be a hit: emotion, groove, carefully crafted synth stabs, melodic synth-escapades and driving arpeggiators, as well as ethereal sounding vocoders. One track made for those special and emotional moments on the dancefloor.

Dodi Palese takes Capricious Society to festival territory, its ostinatos taking center stage to transform the original into a hypnotic and powerful anthem with a relentless rise of energy. While the original track feels like an emotional dream, the remix adds the power factor to it.

Photons brings another facet of Adnan’s Solar Visions, with heady synths, soaring choirs, as well as epic and emotionally charged chord progressions.

Previously featured on Feed The Void’s fundraising compilation to support the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Gaza, Dreamweaver is a poignant closing statement about hope and resilience—serving as a positive reminder that music can inspire change, and hope for better days to come, and we believe through his music, Adnan is the perfect messenger for this purpose.

We spend the majority of our lives in good health, but very occasionally we get shaken up by fever caused by heavy kick drums, a snare that sounds like gunfire at an Iraqi wedding, and pads that sound like sirens at the scene of a serious accident and a bassline which induces haemorrhaging.  Sometimes we all get a little bit of sickness.
Teniente Castillo and Mufti have come together to craft a brew which has been bottled and brought to life by Headman's wonderful Relish imprint. A slow paced track which doesn't go any faster than 110 bpm simply because it doesn't need to. You do all the moving for it because that the way these two excellent producers want it. You might be feeling fit as a fiddle or you might be on deaths door, either way you could all do with a little bit of sickness in your life.
