Dear all, especially any friends in the legal sector, I need your advice please. You can PM me if you feel its more appropriate.

For the past 6 months, I am in the process of fighting a case against someone who used a photocopy of my IC, signed up online for a Singtel fibre plan, which he could get himself a FREE MACBOOK GOLD, and me footing the bill.

This person is someone in the night club scene, which we were once colleagues when I was in that club as a substitute musician. I'll reveal who is it at a later time, but for now, I'll call him "K".

Long story short, I made a police report, 6 months later, the police got back to me saying the Attorney General Chambers (AGC) has decided not to take any action against him. Efforts to ask why were turned down, with the police saying its confidential.

I have ALL the evidence to prove him guilty - Singtel provided me his mobile number he used to call through, which the police used to establish his identity, and even the VOICE RECODING from Singtel of him trying to impersonate me.

Singtel didn't want to give me the recording directly, so I had to ask Hui Qi when she was back in Singapore for a holiday to go down to Singtel HQ to listen to it, and secretly do a voice recording thru her phone.
Some people have told me to have a big heart, move on and let it pass. I thought so too, but think about this.... what is the message the AGC is trying to convey to a criminal? That you can just try your luck to impersonate someone, and you can get away with it, knowing the AGC wouldn't bother cos the crime isn't big enough for their efforts?

I need some advice:
1) Is there a way I can ask AGC for the reason why they decided not to take any action?
2) Are there any avenues to appeal for the AGC to relook into this case?
3) Is there any other ways I can get to this case without the AGC?

01:29 ---> The Singtel staff asked him about my address, which is the one at Block 82B Toa Payoh Lorong 4 # XXXXXXXX

10:39 ---> He claimed and said out fluently my Full Name and NRIC as a verbal contract, claiming himself to be me.

11:45 ---> He requested to pay more money in advance, like $200-$300.

13:51 to 15:28 --> He claims his cousin will be redeeming the free 
Macbook, requests if photocopy of IC and authorization letter is ok to claim.
