This happy place in my head is called SNNYLAND, a lifelong music festival. I wanted to take you on a journey to this magical place and to the vision inside my mind.

I began writing this song in a coffee shop in Paris. Still to this day I can't figure out if it is a sad song or happy song lol. The original title was going to "Paris Nights", however I changed it to "I Don't Wanna Know" after I finished writing it. Heartbreak is a part of life, but what is important is bouncing back from it. Always remember, that good things fall apart, so better things can come together!

So how did I come up with the idea for this song... I was watching the Chainsmokers 2019 Tomorrowland set on YouTube and they began performing their hit "Closer". Although I was personally at Tomorrowland 2019, I was at the Martin Garrix stage and did not get to see the Chainsmokers that night live. Aside from that being a song I have always loved, I remembered how big of a smashing success that song was. As big a fan as I am for duets, I started thinking that I have never created one.

“I’ll Be Alive” features ALWZ SNNY’s iconic multi-genre sound, a unique feature that truly epitomizes the artist.  The song starts out with synthesizer keys and emotional strings to set the foundation.  The vocals layer in to add a euphoric festival feel and all the elements build to a main stage drop with an explosive EDM percussion track.  The resulting combination is an understated yet powerful tune that transcends just one specific genre.

The song lyrics tell the story of a soul embracing life, not looking back, and seeking to live each moment.  Accompanying the release of the song is a music video directed by JDFilms which interprets the lyrics as a real-world game of Monopoly. In the video, game pieces are brought to life including characters such as the banker, the car and the boat.  The artist makes an appearance in the video in his typical sunshine mask with three smiles symbolizing life is about having fun.
