Fabio, Grooverider, Calibre, Marky, Ed Rush and Optical, Digital, Randall, Mefjus, Goldie, Marcus Intalex, Bailey, TC, are just a few of many major players with whom Al:x has shared the the booth since he started playing regularly from 2001 in all the major clubs in Portugal 
Spain, Germany and London are some of the places Al:x played is unique style of blending the deeper harder basslines, the hard beats and the funkier styles. Each set is a true journey through the variety of styles that DNB has to offer. 
At his home country he has had two radio shows ( Grant’s Antenna with Cooltrain Crew and Fala Baixo in Vodafone FM with Dj Riot from Buraka Som Sistema) where weekly he showcased the new beats and the classics. Also he kept a residency for more than six years in Op Art, one of the most iconic clubs in Lisbon. 
Producer wise he has released one of the only D’n’B records in Portugal, Southern East Flavours by Cooltrain Crew released in 2006, remixing big local names like Da Weasel or Dead Combo, among others. 
Currently he has been working alongside Y.L.S and Skalator in a Lisbon based DnB Label, Skalator Music, that has released artists like himself, Riot and Neurotoxin. 
Being a bodyboarder and a traveller by nature, his sets reflect all the influencies and experiences he gathers around the globe and are themselves a true journey, like an unfolding wave. ///
Despertou para música desde cedo, muito por influência do irmão mais velho que sendo coleccionador de discos sempre o inundou de sonoridades várias. Com apenas 15 anos teve o seu primeiro “emprego” como dj, num bar onde o residente foi expulso e na mesma noite foi convidado a ficar. 

O Drum and Bass entra na sua vida em 1997 e em 2001 começa a pôr os primeiros discos. Conhece Nuno Forte, Riot e Johnny da Cooltrain e as primeiras datas em Lisboa e no Porto começam a surgiu. Dois anos mais tarde entra definitivamente para a Cooltrain. Por esta altura o seu estilo descontraído e cativante atrás dos pratos começam a fazer-se notar e é uma marca que ainda hoje se faz sentir, cada vez que toca é quase como se fosse a primeira e o objectivo é por quem tiver à sua frente a dançar freneticamente. Com o colectivo editou o álbum de remisturas Cooltrain Crew Southeastern D'N'B Flavours, e tocou ao lado de alguns dos mais conceituados DJ's do género com Fábio, Grooverider, Calibre, Marky, Ed Rush and Optical, Digital, Randall, entre muitos outros.
