Just like with demo music, I'm really drawn to projects where you have to show your intent clearly, and usually without all the presumptious preamble. I also took it as an excuse to dig into my Castlevania fanboy bag of tricks.

This is the soundtrack for the mini-game Brocken, developed by Anders Ekermo for the game jam The Room. Participants would design a single-screen game, with predetermined controls and entrances / exits, and their contributions would be combined into one big Flash game called SoManyRooms. Neat idea.

Oh, and the original was just over 2 minutes long, so it's been "de-looped" with some new stuff.

VIDEOBALL combines our favorite elements of arcade shooting games, modern first-person shooters, and modern real-time strategy games with the depth of soccer, basketball, hockey, football, and rugby. In VIDEOBALL you maneuver a player using directional buttons or either of your controller's analog sticks. Press any button or pull any trigger to project a triangle. Only triangles can push balls. Triangles also stun players on impact. Hold any button to charge bigger triangles. Bigger triangles push harder. Push balls into the opposing goal to score points. Hold a button long enough to build a defensive square. Shoot defensive squares to destroy them.

This is my Starbound Album from 2012, not in anyway related to the game that was released later, telling the story of a souls journey after death. It is edited for the first time in this form to play through from start to finish seamlessly as one giant piece, separated into 5 movements.

I felt like toying around with a YM2610B mimic attempt in FL Studio, I think I went over the limitations a fair bit the more I wrote, but at least it was more fun this way!

Thunderstrike Foresight

A mix and medley of some tracks featured in Paprium composed by myself and Jredd but not all and some unused musical Easter eggs thrown in for good measure. I’ve also thrown in various musical interludes and played around with some tracks, so they are not identical to those included in the game. I have added some samples here and there to mix things up too.
