Эта работа посвящена исследованию и переосмыслению советского музыкального наследия позднего периода – от саундтреков для научных фильмов и более абстрактных артхаус работ, до музыки лежащей в основе авангардной советской мультипликации 80-х – начала 90-х. Перепад высот в данном случае является метафорой, отражающей эфемерность и непостоянство чувств и эмоций, широкую амплитуду испытываемых нами настроений – от праздного и веселого к более вдумчивому, серьёзному, что в свою очередь прослеживается в единой музыкальной линии альбома.
