This is a hybrid bassdrum I made from two 808 and 909 samples 

My goal was to create a kick that combines the best of both worlds – the rich sub bass ooomph of the 808, and the powerful transient of the 909, which cuts through the mix much better than a soft 808.

I first used this kick on my 2020 Bedrock release "Burn Your Love" – check it out!

Gianluca Caiati, better known by his stage name Kaiser, is an esteemed DJ specialising in electronic music, particularly in the genre of techno. The following series was founded to acknowledge producers for their influence on shaping the sound in the electronic music genre while simultaneously showcasing the distinctive musical style of each artist, featuring both released and unreleased music in an all-original podcast format.

K92 aims to reintroduce a sense of mystery surrounding artists by bringing back the focus on the music itself and creating a blank slate for listeners to develop their own interpretations. As a result, the sets on this platform do not include any press photographs or biographies. Instead, each set has been personally signed by the artist to complete their signature sound.
