Português: A Tropical Twista Records apresenta sua segunda compilação, reunindo artistas para uma jornada musical através de experimentações sonoras e culturais. 

Neste disco apresentamos 15 faixas de grandes artistas do Brasil, Argentina, China, Estados Unidos e Alemanha, permeando e criando harmonicamente um contexto com temas latinos, africanos, brasileiros e orientais, compartilhando um cenário em que a música e a pluralidade étnica influenciam a nossa relação com o meio. 

Cada obra oferece uma determinada impressão da nova arte eletrônica, ora se enveredando por estéticas já consagradas, ora buscando novos caminhos possíveis. O ponto de encontro é a conquista de um novo espaço onde ritmos e expressões culturais sobressaem a esfera regional. 

A nossa região comum é a música da natureza, os cantos escondidos da Terra e o som que ecoa com o silêncio. 

A paz e a sinergia dão lugar aos novos rituais eletrônicos. A expressão cultural abre espaço pra conversa com a pluralidade. 


English: The Tropical Twista Records presents its second compilation, gathering artists for a musical journey through cultural and sonorous experimentations. In this record we present 15 tracks of big artists from Brazil, Argentina, China, United States and Germany, harmonically permeating and creating a context of latin, african, brazilian and oriental themes, sharing a scenario where music and ethnical plurality influentiate our relation with the environment. 

Each work offers a certain impression of the new electronic art, either travelling through already consecrated aesthetics or pursuing new possible paths. 

The meeting point is the conquer of a new space where rhythms and cultural expressions go further beyond the regional sphere. 

Our common region is the music of the nature, the hidden chants of the Earth and the sound that echoes with the silence. 

The peace and the synergy give way to the new electronic rituals. The cultural expression open space to a dialogue with the plurality.

Master R.Carlos Nakai Flute and vocals, with much respect and in the way to share the love and knowledge in those sacred vibrations.

The other moons stay home as the full moon rises and sways, following the movement of the flute. The simple small gathering must last all night, so the flautist plays “night custodian,” keeping the moon charmed by blowing off two-inch strings of melody through a double barrel (one barrel in front of the other). Among the handful that have gathered: one claps, one taps foot, two more play cabasa and clave; all keep time for the flautist; the moment the flautist ceases, the moon will sink into the swamp.

En su segundo álbum, “De La Muerte y Otras Cosas”, Juan Pino & Quemando Palabras cantaron de una inmensa luz más allá de la tristeza, de un nuevo inicio tras cada fin. Con esta compilación de remixes, los artistas invitados contribuyen a darle un nuevo sonido a esa luz, darle un nuevo marco a los versos cantados de Juan Pino y su padre Bruno, el primo MC ecuatoriano Iván Pino y las cantantes Margarita Posada de Colombia y Neda Cainero de Suiza.

Como es en la naturaleza del proyecto Quemando Palabras, que tiene sus raíces entre Latinoamérica y Europa, los remixes llevan también intentos de 
combinaciones inéditas. En este caso por ejemplo Emiliano Gómez, conocido como El Hijo De La Cumbia en Buenos Aires, vive hoy en Suecia y bajo su nuevo pseudónimo de Ego.360 ha remixado el tema “Verbum Est”, del cual se sacó un video producido completamente en Ecuador. Danochilango que viene desde México D.F., vive hoy en Copenhague y nos propone su versión punjabi del track “Cuando Todo Se Nos Venga Encima”.

Los versos de las calles de Quito encuentran atmósferas nórdicas y hasta 
sonoridades medievales en las mezclas del danés Christopher Juul y los 
alemanes Omdulö. Barda y Trópico Del Cáncer (el mismo Juan Pino) nos regalan viajes en una selva femenina de marimbas, voces y harmónicas.

Con este álbum de remixes Juan Pino abre la familia Quemando Palabras hacia nuevos horizontes, con la participación de artistas y productores de la nueva electrónica Argentina como SidiRum y Barda. Otras distintas escenas se ven representadas, como el global bass o las mezclas de los ecuatorianos Lascivio Bohemia y MilkBox.

“Vidita” EP (Global Hybrid Records / 42 Records) is a taste of the new album by Go Dugong (Italian producer based in Milan), coming out in March 2018. A global music devotee, Go Dugong continues a journey, started with “Novanta” (42 Records / Fresh Yo!) in 2015, through exotic sounds, passing from Africa to Latin America, always trying to mix instead of embracing a prede ned genre. If the topic of “Novanta” was that of the metropolitan cultural clash, this album was born with the aim to dig deeper and nd its roots. 

The inspiration comes from the enchantment of the rst civilizations, whose myths and legends are inevitably linked to nature and the universe; This generates songs inspired by tribal beliefs, mythological gures, rituals and esotericism which, not by chance, often refer to divinities or superior civilizations arrived from outer space. The result is again a hybrid of rhythms, styles and musical genres: Afro, Andean and Amazonian music, dub, psychedelic and cosmic blend with the aim of telling a journey; Go Dugong’s research leitmotiv. 

The single “Vidita” is a tribute to the folk music of the Argentine Northwest; the wild song of the Andes is played by Miriam García, Argentinean musician and actress as well as one of the greatest researchers and performers of coplas, poetic compositions...  more

It begins tender and soft, and unfolds into a very powerful climax with two peaks (the cruise between the peaks may be hard to identify... :D ), which will make you sweat... surrender to the beats or take a break, if you can't continue :P
