Marcelo Cucco nasceu em 1990 na cidade de Niterói RJ.  É musico, arranjador, compositor, multi instrumentista mais com especialidade em saxofones. 
Quando criança participou do coral da escola cantando e tocando flauta doce. Aos 10 anos começou a tocar clarineta e aos 12 saxofone. Começou a se interessar pelo rock e outros ritmos internacionais aos 14 arriscando alguns passos no contrabaixo e na guitarra.
Aos 16 anos começou a ganhar dinheiro com musica tocando contrabaixo e saxofones com os amigos do colégio. Pouco antes dos 20 anos se profissionalizou tocando com bandas populares nas noites cariocas, quando desenvolveu suas habilidades na improvisação e envolveu-se com os ritmos que preenchiam a musicalidade da cidade.  
Aos 21 começa a fazer arte de rua desenvolvendo um tipo de projeto solo, fazendo experiencias com musicas regionais e contemporânea. 
Iniciou seus estudos no curso de Licenciatura em Musica na Universidade Federal do Estado do Rio de Janeiro no ano de 2012.  
Conheceu o universo das técnicas e começou a dedicar seu tempo livre ao exercício da composição musical contando com a parceria de amigos da universidade para a formação grupos alternativos instrumentais.
No inicio de 2014, envolvido com a filosofia e as atividades "contemporâneas", tranca a matricula na universidade junto com Gabriel Carneiro para viajar pela América do sul vivenciando a musicalidade e cultura de cada região. Para a sustentabilidade financeira deste projeto gravaram o álbum instrumental  "Do rio ao céu: No ciclo das águas, o caminho do infinito" para vender suas reproduções durante as apresentações na rua ou em eventos formais que aleatoriamente ia sendo convidado a participar. 
Marcelo Cucco durante este período teve experiencias mais profundas nos assuntos contemporâneos, vivendo em comunidades alternativas e fazendo contato com pessoas de diferentes localidades (músicos, artistas, produtores culturais, etc. ). 
Além de tocar seu saxofone tenor por cada região (rua, festivais, casas de cultura, casa de amigos, rodas regionais),  produziu, juntamente de Gabriel Carneiro e outros músicos conhecidos ao longo das "andanças", mais álbuns de musica garantindo a memória dessas experiencias.
