Amalgama was founded in 2001 by Vlad Graf Ivoilov. Band plays a melodic rock wich looks like a mix of Scorpions, Manowar and Judas Priest one. Amalgama played over 200 shows both single and in the frames of tours allover Russia, Ukraine and Belarus.

The band splitted a stage with such acts like Dirkschneider (U.D.O), W.A.S.P., Grave Digger (Germany), Paul di Anno (ex Iron Maiden), Blind Guardian, Dragonforce, Gorky Park, Aria, Epidemia, Catharsis and many others.
