"The doldrums is a zone of equatorial low pressure, region of atmospheric calm separating the trade winds of the two hemispheres. It's a zone where sailing ships sometimes get stuck on windless waters. This podcast is dedicated to all kinds of boats sailing in the middle of a wide ocean, sometimes needing just a wave between two swells to get back on course.
In this podcast, I propose to take you on a cruise between lightness and roughness. In the doldrums of the sea."

Huge thanks to my friends at trust for inviting me to one of their slots on Jam Rtbf. I love and support this collective from Namur (my home town) with all my heart. And ofc thank you to the Jam Rtbf’s team for letting me express myself for two hours on their superb channel. 

This 2-hour set begins with a deep, dark journey, intended to be spellbinding and gradually leading you towards brighter, more bouncy sounds. I take you along a path that gradually emerges from the darkness.

Amalie is an emerging DJ from Brussels and an integral part and founder of the MÉTA collective. Blossoming around techno sounds that sometimes seem to come from a world apart, she rhythms her days by traveling through the evolution of techno over time and frequencies. Curious and intoxicated by music since childhood, Amalie strives for harmony and coherence beyond any stylistic barriers. Her eclectic, meaningful mixes are characterized by variations in intensity, texture and energy.
